It’s easy to contact your police neighbourhood officer - Donaldson

PSNI Neighbourhood Policing Teams in Magherafelt recently distributed new information leaflets to inform local people on how to contact their local Neighbourhood Police Officers.

The leaflets have been distributed to every home in the area and are available in three different handy-sized formats. These include: a leaflet with a map outlining which Neighbourhood Team serves each area; a credit card sized leaflet with direct contact numbers for each Neighbourhood officer; a bookmark with contact details on how to contact your local Neighbourhood officer.

Magherafelt Area Commander, Chief Inspector Sam Donaldson said we want everyone to know how easy it is to contact their local Neighbourhood Officer.

He said, “We are delighted to introduce the new leaflets which provide important contact details for local Neighbourhood Police Teams. These are designed and distributed to advise every person on how to contact their local officer about any issues or concerns they may have.

“Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is dedicated to making your neighbourhood safer for everyone. The team aims to achieve this by working with you and partners in the community to identify and tackle local priorities,” he continued.

“We are committed to providing a personal, professional and protective service for everyone. We are only a phone call away and these leaflets provide the information to enable people to make contact with us easily.”

More leaflets are available from Magherafelt Police Station. Magherafelt Police can also be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
