Kicked door of vehicle while out on his stag night

While he was out on his stag night a Lurgan man kicked the passenger door of a vehicle causing damage.

And last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court 21 year old Shane Emmett Conlon, Springwell Drive, Lurgan, admitted criminal damage on May 5 this year.

He was fined £150, with a £15 offender’s levy, and ordered to pay £350 compensation for the damage he caused.

Mr Pat McMahon, representing the defendant, said it was Conlon’s stag do and he taken much more drink that he would be used to.

Mr McMahon explained Conlon did not have any reason for doing this and did not know any of the people. He said that Conlon had since been the victim of an assault which was a stamping incident.
