Kids in Ardboe forced to use church car park as playground
SDLP MLA for Mid Ulster, Patsy McGlone, has called on the Education Minister to explain the delay in approving a new playground at an Ardboe school.
Mr McGlone said: “I have submitted a priority written question to the Education Minister in the Assembly asking for a progress update on the planned new playground at St Patrick’s Primary School, Ardboe.
“The children at the school are currently forced to use the chapel car park as a playground. This is an unacceptable situation, which has now been going on for a considerable amount of time.”
He added: “The Minister now needs to act decisively, and approve the work for this much needed playground at St Patrick’s as soon as possible.”
