Latest: Meningitis victim Aaron Devlin to have scan today

Ballinderry Shamrocks are asking for continued prayers for the Devlin family as GAA star Aaron is due to have a scan today [Thursday, July 30].

“Aaron will be having a scan anytime soon,” the team said on it’s Facebook page.

Aaron has been in intensive care at Antrim Area Hospital since last Friday, when he was admitted with the brain virus Meningitis.

“Aaron and his family will be needing your thoughts and prayers at this time,” they continued.

“Thanks for all the prayers you have shared with Aaron, his family and us so far.

“We have been overwhelmed by them.”

The Rosary will also be said at St Patrick’s Ballinderry tonight at 7pm.
