Alderman Jim Dillon, Chairman of the Council’s Economic Development Committee along with other Council representatives, had the opportunity to meet these international delegates who are members of the established ETSI organisation. The guests also enjoyed a tour of Hillsborough Castle during their visit.

Welcoming the delegates to Lisburn, Mr Dillon said, “This high profile visit demonstrates the potential for Lisburn’s economy and its local business community. We were delighted to facilitate this important meeting as part of the Council’s continued support to local development, assisting companies such as Arcatech to expand and grow.’

Arcatech, which is based in Lisburn Enterprise Centre on the Ballinderry Road, has participated on a number of Council led business development programmes such as the Atlanta Trade Development Programme.

As a result of the trade visit to Atlanta, the company established new international partnerships and benefited from sales of £300,000.
