Man arrested in Ballymoney area over sexual offence
Detectives investigating an assault on a 19 year old woman in the Carr Road area of Carryduff in the early hours of Tuesday 16 September 2014 have charged a man with committing an offence with intent to commit a sexual offence and criminal damage.
The woman had got into a vehicle outside licenced premises at the Lower Crescent, South Belfast in the early hours of 16 September before being left abandoned in a dark and isolated area of the Carr Road after being assaulted.
The 33 year old man was arrested in the Ballymoney area on Tuesday 28 April and is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrates Court on Friday 22 May.
