Man assaulted outside Cookstown takeaway

Police investigating the incident at James Street in the early hours of October 11 are appealing for information.

Constable Peter Hamilton said: “Police are keen to hear from anyone who noticed a man exiting a silver coloured taxi, possibly a Toyota.

“This person may be able to help with enquiries. If you can help please call the 101 number, quoting reference number 276111015. Alternatively information about crime can be passed via the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
