Man awaiting sentence on assault charges

Sentencing was adjourned until October 28 for the preparation of pre-sentence probation reports on Melvyn David Bamber (21), whose address was given as Hydebank Young Offenders’ Centre, after he pleaded guilty to the offences, at Ballymena Magistrates Court.

Bamber admitted assaulting a man occasioning him actual bodily harm on July 4, 2009, and also a further charge of common assault on another man on the same date.
