Man stole a bone from shop

On Wednesday afternoon (April 27) CityWatch CCTV Operators in Lisburn received a report that a male had concealed items of clothing and a dog bone and had left a store without making payment.

The male was stopped by shop security and the items were recovered.

However, the male then threatened violence against the security and shop staff when he was asked to return to the store.

CCTV Operators then searched the area and located the male.

The police were directed to his whereabouts and he was spoken to about the theft from the local shop.

The male was cautioned for theft, common assault and made a full admission to police. He is to attend Lisburn police station for interview.
