Mazda cars for Ballycastle

A LARGE number of Mazda cars will be in Ballycastle on Sunday May 30.

Moyle Council has agreed that the Mazda MX-5 Owners Club will be allowed to use the Quay Road Car Park.

A Council report said: ‘A site visit has been accommodated and correspondence has been received from the above Club requesting use of part of the Quay Road car park to facilitate a lunch stop in Ballycastle for two hours 11.30am - 1.30pm on Sunday 30th May 2010 for 40-50 cars.

‘The Club are hosting the MX-5 Owners Club 2010 Spring Rally in Northern Ireland. This annual event is held in a different region of the British Isles each year and this is the fist time it has been held outside England, Scotland and Wales,’ said the report.
