McCrea’s praise for Prince’s Trust volunteers
LAGAN Valley MLA Basil McCrea recently presented volunteering awards to the Prince’s Trust at Stormont.
The Prince’s Trust has over 300 volunteers in Northern Ireland carrying out a variety of key roles directly helping young people during or after their completion of a Trust programme.
“I am very proud to be involved with such a great charity,” said Mr McCrea. “The talent in these individuals and the generosity for them to give up so much time is worth so much to people.
“The voluntary sector is often one that is overlooked. When you see the work done by an organisation like the Prince’s Trust, it is hard clear to see just how valuable they are to Northern Ireland.”
