The motion recognises that Her Majesty is the longest reigning monarch in UK history.

It also commends the Bible Society for such a production which concentrates on Her Majesty’s Christian faith, contains a forward written by the Queen herself, and expresses the hope that she will continue to reign and express her personal faith long into the future.

The Motion was supported by a number of MP’s across the House of Commons.

MP Campbell said: “I contacted the Bible Society once I had tabled the Motion, and they kindly forwarded me a few copies of “The Servant Queen”.

“I was delighted to join with local MLA Adrian McQuillan in handing over a copy to Willie Wilson of Culcrow Park in Aghadowey, who also celebrates his ninetieth birthday this year.”

MP Campbell also presented Coleraine woman Jean Nesbitt, who actually shares her birthday with Her Majesty with the publication.
