Men united against prostate cancer
Prostate Cancer UK is calling on people in Northern Ireland to join its ‘Men United’ team, a volunteer network to help support men affected by prostate cancer and spread the word about prostate disease.
Individuals are invited to find out more by attending a volunteer training session in Belfast on August 21.
In Northern Ireland, prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men. Volunteer Support Officer Ewan McPherson said: “We are calling on people from across Northern Ireland to join a unique team–Men United–and play their role in beating this devastating disease.”
