Moneymore man to stand trial over cultivation of cannabis plants
A Moneymore man is to stand trial in relation to drugs offences linked to the production of cannabis.
Peter Colm Lagan, 54 from Ballygrooby Road is accused of cultivating cannabis plants on March 19 2013, as well as permitting premises under his control to be used for the production of cannabis.
The case was listed for committal proceedings at East Tyrone Magistrates Court but a defence solicitor said he had only just been instructed and needed time to study the papers.
District Judge John Meehan agreed to an adjournment.
