Neighbourhood Watch success in Portstewart
THE Neighbourhood Watch scheme is proving to be a great success in Portstewart with 20 approved areas now in operation in the town.
Those attending Tuesday’s public meeting of Portstewart Community Vision were given an update by Paddy McGowan, Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator.
He said that the approved ‘Watches’ meet every six weeks to share information and liaise with the PSNI. He added that anyone interested in organising further Neighbourhood Watches would be greatly encouraged.
