It is directed by Bernie Mahon of Postscript Productions and aims to encourage open and honest debate on suicide awareness in a supportive and safe atmosphere. It gives a voice to those who previously did not have one and feedback has shown it has been instrumental in identifying people at risk of self harm /suicide, whether through depression, substance abuse, social factors including unemployment and poverty, or a combination of these.

It aims to encourage debate among pupils, teachers, youth workers and parents' groups in particular about how best to respond to the growing problem of low self esteem and lack of self worth among young adult males in particular and how best to respond to their needs. It also addresses issues raised by death by suicide in a community, school, family, or peer group.
