Noel Coonan TD Welcomes Emergency Works Funding for Tipperary Schools

Deputy Noel Coonan has welcomed the announcement of funding by the Department of Education under the Emergency Works Scheme for Ardcroney NS to carry out electrical works at the school and for Carrig NS, Ballycommon, Nenagh for mechanical works.

“This funding well help carry out essential works in the two schools and is another clear example of the Government’s commitment to the education sector. Funding is consistently approved for additional accommodation and emergency works in schools nationwide. Sixteen schools have received funding since the beginning of January,” said Deputy Coonan.

“These schools were approved for the works in January and it was a good start to the new year for Ardcroney and Ballycommon schools. Fine Gael in Government will continue to prioritise Tipperary projects and I will do all that I can as your elected representative to enhance our children’s educational needs,” concluded Deputy Coonan
