Northgate awarded Investors in People accreditation

Northgate, which has bases at Church Road and Mossley Mill, employs more than 1,150 people.

Speaking at the celebration event, Dr Stephen Farry, Minister for Employment and Learning, congratulated Northgate and a host of other companies on achieving the accreditation.

“Everyone knows we are experiencing a challenging time in terms of keeping businesses viable and competitive. However, I am convinced that this is the time to raise the skills levels of the workforce so that we are well prepared for the opportunities ahead. It is only by investing in our most important asset, our people, that we can ensure that the Northern Ireland of the future can compete economically on a global scale,” he commented.

Peter Thompson, Northgate’s Human Resources Director, added: “We are passionate about developing our people to drive performance and add value to our customers. Achieving Investors in People Accreditation is central to the success of our business and we will use this achievement to help build world class IT managed services.”
