All students achieved A*-C in English Literature, RE and History with all but one student achieving grades A*-C in Art and Design, French, ICT, Motor Vehicle and Road User Studies.

Fifty-seven per cent of students achieved success at A*–C with 99% achieving success at A*-G.

Acting principal Robert Young said: “The results once again reflect the professional input and dedication of teaching staff and the continued support of parents. Success in exams at any level cannot be achieved without the total commitment of pupils, staff and parents and the combined outstanding pastoral care for which the school is renowned.

Almost 60 of our most successful students are returning to sixth form in Cullybackey High School, some to other schools in the Ballymena area, some to the NRC and others to training and employment.

“Whatever the students choose the Governors, Headmaster and staff wish them every success in the future.”
