Carrickfergus Royal British Legion members have paid tribute to past chairman Alan Hamilton with a sponsored walk around the town.

The walk, which was held on Sunday, November 6, was organised by Alan's daughter Elaine Parker along with Royal British Legion (RBL) members Eddie McKnight, Stephen Weir MBE and Joe Carmichael, chairman.

They were joined by Alan's grandson Sam McIlroy and family and friends.

This is the sixth year of the event and all proceeds go to Carrickfergus RBL Poppy Appeal.
