Honorary membership is bestowed upon Killaloo Orangeman Ronnie White
Approximately 70 guests from all over the City and further afield attended the evening and enjoyed an exceptional buffet provided by Worshipful Brother Norman Boyd. The entertainment was marvellous during the meal, with Timothy Cairns playing a selection of tunes on the piano, whilst all of the guests enjoyed the Piping and recitations of Billy Doherty, the wonderful tunes of Killaloo Accordion Band and a splendid performance on the flute by Worshipful Brother John Cairns.
The City Grand Master of Londonderry Right Worshipful Brother James Hetherington assisted the Worshipful Master Jonathan Keys in presenting Worshipful Brother Ronnie White with his honorary membership certificate and a gift.

Hide AdWorshipful Brother Ronnie White has been a loyal, true and dedicated Orangeman for over 45 years and has served in numerous offices within his Lodge, District and as Chief Marshal in the City of Londonderry Grand Orange Lodge. Ronnie was accompanied at the presentation ceremony by his wife Heather and daughter Nicola and spoke affectionately about the institution, which he said was by far one of the greatest Protestant organisations in the world.
A number of guests spoke about Ronnie and his service to the Institution, including Right Worshipful Brother Victor Wray, Past City Grand Master, Worshipful Brother Derek Boyd and Worshipful Brother John Cairns. Mrs Mary Hamilton Deputy Mayor of Londonderry congratulated Ronnie on his achievements and thanked him for his unwavering support and assistance to her as a friend and enthusiastic worker within the Ulster Unionist Party.
The evening concluded with the National Anthem.
