A Portadown church, which ran a Winter Coat Project, has helped more than 50 families with more than 300 coats finding new homes.

Thomas St Methodist Church put out a call weeks ago for donations of Winter coats and were overwhelmed with donations of coats, hats, gloves and scarves.

On Monday night (October 10) volunteers welcomed guests to join them at the church in Thomas Street to choose new winter wear.
