Photographers are told to get snapping

BUDDING photographers in Londonderry are being encouraged to get snapping for the annual Diverse City Photo competition, organised by Derry City Council’s Good Relations Section.

The competition has been hugely successful to date, attracting entries from across the Council area. The Diverse City Calendars of 2010 and 2011 included an eclectic mix of photographic imagery depicting the city and its people and signifying the city’s wide diversity and cultural identities.

Carol Stewart is a community relations officer with Derry City Council and is keen to encourage budding photographers of all ages to enter the competition.
