Mourneview Aces in shoebox appeal
MOURNEVIEW Aces Barber Shop are taking part in a shoebox appeal and all donations are more than welcome.
The salon at Mourneview Park plan to send out the boxes to troops in Afghanistan and anyone who can provide items to fill the boxes are asked to drop them into the shop.
Proprietor Jill Adams said: “Some of the guys out there have no one sending them parcels and, to keep morale up, Sarah-Anne (Wilkie) and I are taking this on board.
“If anyone wants to help fill the boxes with biscuits, sweets, etc they can drop them into my shop and we will be sending them at the beginning of December.”
