Portstewart steps get revamp in time for festival

For many the climb from the Promenade seems never ending, but now the area has been transformed, with locals and tourists commenting on the work.

Organised by local artists, at their own expense, the steps beside Morellis got a Red Sails makeover, just in time for this week’s celebrations.

The artists colourful handy work have now brightening up, what is normally a dark a dreary area.

The Red Sails Festival started on Sunday and there’s plenty of offer this week.
