PSNI take action against youths with fireworks in Magherafelt
Police in Magherafelt have responded to calls from local residents who were concerned about anti-social behaviour and fireworks in their area.
“Whilst on patrol, local LPT officers, stopped and searched youths and located a number of fireworks,” said the PSNI.
“One youth was cautioned in the presence of a parent for the offence of possession of fireworks without a licence.
“We are currently liaising with our Youth Diversion Officer and the matter will be reported to the Public Prosecution Service.”
