Recycling centre is open again after work

Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council has announced the reopening of Carryduff Household Recycling Centre following work to provide enhanced environmental protection measures.

The Comber Road based facility closed in September 2015 to allow essential environmental infrastructure works to improve the site drainage and the quality of surface areas.

Speaking about the re-opening of Carryduff Household Recycling Centre, Chairman of the Environmental Services Committee, Councillor Brian Hanvey said: “First and foremost, I would like to sincerely thank the residents that use Carryduff Household Recycling Centre for their patience during the period of closure and apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

Carryduff Household Recycling Centre is open Monday to Saturday from 9.00am to 5.00pm until the 31st March and Monday to Friday from 9.00am – 7.00pm and Saturday from 9.00am to 5.00pm from the 1st April to 30th September.
