Reform timetable 'shortly'
COUNCILS must continue to work together to get the best deal for ratepayers.
That was the message from Environment Minister Edwin Poots to the Mid and East Antrim Transition Committee, which consists of Ballymena, Carrickfergus and Larne councils, at its workshop on Tuesday. The body has been undertaking preparatory work to facilitate the convergence of councils.
Mr Poots assured the committee of plans to reframe the local government reform timetable shortly.
