Report ordered in cocaine case

A pre-sentence report has been ordered before a 21-year-old man is sentenced for possession of cocaine.

Stefan Hyde, Woodside Green, Portadown, admitted unlawful possession of a class A drug on November 14 last year.

He pleaded guilty through his solicitor, Mr Richard Monteith, at Craigavon Magistrates Court last Wednesday.

District Judge, Mrs Bernie Kelly, said that given the nature of the drug a pre-sentence report would be required.

She adjourned sentencing until June 8 so that a report could be prepared.
