Screwfix staff in relay fundraiser

Gavin Roberts from the Screwfix store in Lurgan recently participated in ‘Tour de Screwfix’, a mammoth 5,500 mile national cycle relay, to raise money for The Screwfix Foundation, a charity which supports projects to fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and facilities for those in need in the UK.

To mark the opening of its 400th store, 800 Screwfix staff at each of its stores nationwide are riding a leg over an eight week period with a target to raise £100,000 for The Screwfix Foundation. Gavin covered the Lurgan to Lisburn leg of the challenge, covering 15 miles. Gavin said: I enjoyed the challenge of Tour De Screwfix especially with it being for such a worthwhile cause.
