Secure your property, say police
BALLYMONEY police are appealing to the public to make sure they secure sheds and out-houses after three break-ins when items like chainsaws and power-washers were taken in recent days.
There were three incidents including one in which two chainsaws, each worth £400, were stolen and in another incident a power-washer, worth £700, was taken from the Kirk Road area.
Police say people should put security markings on items like chainsaws and power-washers.
And the PSNI want to hear from anyone who notices any suspicious behaviour around properties to get in touch on 08456008000 or phone Crimestoppers 0800555111.
