Services for Christmas at St Columb’s Cathedral

A very busy fortnight of services lies ahead for the many clergy of the district, and that includes the historic St Columb’s Cathedral.

On Sunday the Cathedral was packed to capacity for the evening service which replaced the traditional Evensong. Instead, hundreds filled the pews for the later Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, which featured the full Male Voice Choir and Boy Choristers.

On Monday evening was the Emergency Services Carol Service, which is always very widely attended.
