Solar farm at Rasharkin
Rasharkin will be marking the way forward in renewable energy after Causeway Coast and Glens Planning committee granted permission for the construction and operation of a Solar Farm east of the village.
Applicants Elgin Energy Esco Ltd had sent letters to the residents and also held a public meeting to inform locals about the plans. Councillor William King commented: “This is an excellent move forward.”
