Sponsored coastal walk in aid of Compass Advocacy Network

CAN Can Recycling have organised a sponsored walk for Saturday 7th August 2010. The walk aims to raise funds for the development and improvement of the Can Can project, which works to provide training opportunities for adults and young people with learning disabilities.

The walk will kick off at 10.30am from the West Strand Car Park in Portrush and will follow the beautiful Causeway Coastline into Portstewart and up The Promenade, and returning via the Mill Road onto Station Road and back along the coast to the Portrush car park.

The total walk is approximately 8 miles and staff and volunteers from Can Can will be providing water and refreshments along the way. Participants also have the option of a fun walk which will also leave from Portrush Car Park and walk a shorter route of approximately 3 miles. The minimum donation is 10 per person or 25 for family or group of 4 people.
