Teenager’s impressive fluteperformance
Adam started his studies on flute at the age of 10 under local flautist and teacher, Brian Houston. At 12 he gained his grade 8 with distinction under the Associated Board of The Royal School of Music. He pursued his flute studies and when just 14 performed his ATCL Diploma with Trinity College London. A brilliant perfomance also gained him another distinction at this level .
At this point it was clear that Adam had his sights set on becoming a performer. To this end he studied for his ITCL Diploma and again and passed with flying colours - just one mark below distinction which was an incredible achievement for a 16-year-old.
His most recent success is his passing in fellowship Diploma in which you either pass or fail. Adam hopes to secure a position in one of the household division regimental bands.
