n Who would all these people be that suggested that letter came from group opposed to SF.

n I want to say congratulations to all Lismore students on their GCSEs! Hopefully I can follow in their footsteps, I wish them well in their A levels.

n From an angry motorist. Have the pedestrians of Lurgan and Nothern Ireland a DEATH WISH? Why, oh why do they just walk out into the middle of the road when it's not safe or where drivers are just inches away from doing them harm. And also have the rules for traffic lights changed? When it's green for us to drive on they just go ahead and cross and don't hurry themselves and if you don't want to stop, which I add we shouldnt have to unless the light is red, they give you a dirty look. So please all you pedestrians read your highway code, after all it's not just for us drivers! And that goes for parents who just drag your children across with you, teach them properly about the dangers of the road and stop serious accidents on our roads.

n Bonfires and Wimbledon make summer extra special. The bonfire in Waringstown this year was the largest in years and was a real spectacle with hundreds viewing and getting into party mode. The Orange community remains strong and vibrant here in NI and we'll keep the bonfires burning for years\decades\centuries to come. The future's bright!

n Can you put a price on a sizeable number of a community celebrating their proud and rich heritage? What are J McGibbon and D Kelly whining about? 21,000 is a pittance when you look at the millions of pounds republicans have cost our wee country over the years and in 2010 they're still at it in Drumbeg and Lurgan rioting at every opportunity costing thousands upon thousand of taxpayers money. To these hoods I recommend their DLA is stopped or they are given detention at school. To Mr McGibbon and Mrs Kelly I say wake up and smell the coffee. EJ, Lurgan.

n Interesting to see Sinn Fein leaflet against the budget cuts calling for a coalition with trade unions to fight the cuts. Surly this couldn't be the same party whos members where telling striking classroom assistants to go back to work.

n Of course Mr Calvert's love of the words NO and NEVER had no effect on Lurgan's demise and never contributed to it either. Tunnel vision at its simple best. From glad ex-Lurgan resident.
