Motorists are being advised to expect “long delays” following a road traffic collision on a section of the M2 northbound this afternoon (Monday).

Detailing the incident in a post on the Traffic Watch Northern Ireland website, a Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “Road users are advised of a road traffic collision on the M2 northbound between Junction 5 Templepatrick and Junction 6 Rathbeg.

"There are currently long delays in the area.”
