Fairy’s Love Song: Eddi Reader
EDDI Reader performs ‘Fairy’s Love Song’ in Londonderry on July 19 as part of Songfest.
She explains she found the song in her great uncle’s house in Dublin.
The song, she says, is about a fairy who “got aff” with a mortal.
She then goes on to sing a song, which used to be her grandfather’s party piece in Glasgow.
