Teenager shot five times in paramilitary-style attack

A teenager was shot five times in the legs in a paramilitary-style shooting in Creggan on Thursday (June 12).

Shortly after 11.20pm, it was reported to the PSNI that an 18 year old male received three gun shot wounds to his right leg and two gunshot wounds to his left leg, in Rathlin Drive.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment to his injuries, that are not believed to be life threatening. Enquiries are continuing.
