vision4kids say ‘thank-you’

The team at vision4kids would like to thank the people of Ballymoney for their generous giving on Saturday 31 March during the charity’s annual street collection.

In total £2,059.03 was raised by the people of the town and those visitors from further afield.

Charity chairman Irwin Holmes commented: “Time and time again, it is the people of Ballymoney who exceed our expectations and give so willingly even in times of economic gloom.

“Vision4kids support education, health and poverty relief projects in Northern Ireland, Kenya, Nepal, Zambia and Poland, and over the past year have raised over £16,000 to help those children who are in need. We would like to expend our thanks to all those who have donated.”

The money raised in Ballymoney will go towards supporting vision4kids and various projects; for example, in April a new water tank will be purchased for a school in Kiambururu, Kenya to supply the children with fresh drinking water.
