Vote 'Intermission'

A LONDONDERRY band is hoping to secure the votes of Sentinel readers in its bid to win a major online competition.

Glenn Rosborough, from the band "Intermission" (facebook.com/intermissionni), who is the former Kharma 45 singer said the band has entered a song competition online, and have currently got through to the quarter finals.

The site is called youbloom.com

Voting has started and ends on Sunday. If Intermission get enough votes, it will get them through to the next stage which will have their song "Mess We've Made" judged by a panel of experts (including Sir Bob Geldof) and if they win, Intermission will get 12,000 Euro.

To vote, all readers need to do is go to the site, search for Intermission and click vote beside the band's name and song "Mess We've Made".

Intermission will also be playing at a launch night for the site's offline work of Networking Musicians Together, on October 15 in Londonderry - the site will also be launching in London and Los Angeles that night.
