WE CARE
Local people, whose hearts were touched by the stark photograph of three-year-old Aylan Kurdi’s lifeless body washed up on a Turkish beach, have created a network of collection points for items to be sent to refugees in Calais.
Co-ordinated by a Facebook page called Northern Ireland Calais Refugee Solidarity, the items collected will be sent to Cork from where a convoy of lorries will depart on September 28th and 29th bound for Calais.
