Woman dies in two vehicle crash

The Agivey Road, Kilrea has now re-opened following a two vehicle road traffic collision at around 8.15am this morning.

The white Seat car in which a 23-year-old woman was killed in a two car collison on the Agivey Road near Kilrea on Thursday morning in taken away. 23-year-old Leanne Dripps from the Upperlands area, Maghera died as a result of the collision.

Officers would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was travelling on the Agivey Road around the time of the collision to contact them at the Collision Investigation Unit at Steeple Police Station on the new non-emergency number 101.
