Young girl escapes injury after truck jumps red light in Cookstown
A young girl was lucky to escape injury after a truck jumped a red light in Cookstown.
In a statement posted on their Facebook page - Cookstown PSNI said they were investigating the incident which happened on April 30, at around 4.15pm.
“A young girl was using the crossing outside Stewarts on the Morgans Hill Road, Cookstown when a pick up truck went through a red light, narrowly missing the young girl but catching her plastic shopping trolley destroying it.
“Police are seeking witnesses to this, any info please contact us.”
