BALLYMONEY Ladies had a tight schedule this weekend with some of the girls playing up to three games in the space of 24 hours.

On Friday night they travelled to Knock for a league game which started eventually at 9pm.

The home side looked to take full advance of catching Money on the backward pedal but Money are a hard team to break down and never know when to quit fighting and Jess Lynch finally hammered the ball into the Knock goal to give Ballymoney a hard earned win but three valuable points.

Saturday the girls were again on the move and played Randalstown who are rooted at the bottom of the table and they got a rude awakener when they scored with only three minutes on the clock.

Money were without five of their starting 11 but this should in no way take away from the girls who filled in the positions and did a good job. Money had to wait till well into the 2nd half before the equaliser was found by Aine Kearney.

Try as they may Money could not find the back of the net again and Town really turned on the pressure in the last five minutes forcing several penalty corners which Money defended well.
