THURSDAY night in the Depot sponsored Eglinton & District Darts League Donaghys B take on Macons, Longfield B face Rising Sun B, Calablanca come up against Donaghys A, The Depot play Eglinton CC B, John Ts face The Vale, Eglinton CC A take on Happy Landing, Drummond Hotel versus Longfield A, while the Rising Sun receive a bye.

The highest recorded finish so far this season came from the talented Mark Thompson (Calablanca) with a fantastic checkout of 152 and this was closely followed by a great 138 checkout from Gerard Curley (The Depot) which shows why they are current county darts players.

There was also another ton plus checkout from John Moore (The Depot) with a 101 finish who is very much a player back in form.

There were maximum 180 scores from Lawrence Duffy (Donaghys A) and Joe Dougherty (Drummond Hotel and there was also a maximum 180 from the previous week from Gerry McCormick (Donaghys A).

The best leg of darts in the week went to Conrad Watson (Rising Sun A) with a consistent 16 dart leg.

Week 11 results were as follows: Happy Landing 2-4 Longfield B; Eglinton CC A 2-4 The Depot; Macons 4-2 Calablanca; The Vale 3-3 Rising Sun B; Rising Sun A 6-0; Longfield A 5-1 Eglinton CC B; Donaghys A 6-0 Donaghys B.

The next meeting takes place on Monday, December 17, at 8.30pm sharp in the Drummond Hotel, where the league’s annual Christmas draw will be staged and all teams must have at least one person to represent them as there will be other matters up for discussion.

The national lottery bonus ball winners from last Saturday night was the Drummond Hotel with number 14.
