Braniel out of South Antrim League due to lack of players
They have lost several players, many of them moving to Amateur League team, East Belfast and this forced them to withdraw from the local league.
Regret and sympathy has already been expressed by South Antrim officials towards the situation and some hope it will only be a temporary withdrawal.

Hide AdBraniel finished runners-up in the Premier Division last season and also won a Cup.
They have not won that many trophies in South Antrim, but have always been there or thereabouts.
They will, indeed, be missed.
Lisburn Athletic have also failed to fulfil their agreement to play in the League.
This is the second successive season they have pulled out late on and this could be the end of the road for the club.

Hide AdTaughmonagh YM will be a real threat in the race for South Antrim League trophies during the coming season.
Many believe they can win the Premier Division and their seconds also take Division 1.
They will be in contention for all the knock-out trophies which they can compete for.
Ballymacash YM are the current champions, but they will have their work cut out to retain the title and Glaston are normally thereabouts.
FC Utd may be among other teams likely to cause a few upsets.
Among the new boys Woodvale YM will be watched with interest and the others are, of course, unknow quantities.
