Distillery manager Tommy Kincaid makes return to role

Tommy Kincaid has said he is “getting there” with his health as he eases back into his role as manager of Lisburn Distillery.

Kincaid was hospitalised on Friday February 7 with a suspected heart attack and was released the following Wednesday, with tests revealing that he had not suffered a heart attack.

The Whites boss is slowly but surely getting back on his feet and made his return last Saturday when the Whites welcomed Larne to New Grosvenor.

Whilst the boss watched the match from the viewing lounge, he gave the team talk and half time talk to his squad.

Kincaid said: “I’m getting there. The Director wants me to take it easy but I did the team talk and half time team talk. I saw the game in the lounge, as they didn’t want me standing on the touchline screaming. I’ll be going on Saturday. I’m not back to full training with the boys yet, but I go along for 15 minutes to say hello. Hopefully I’ll be back soon.”
