Hill Street clinch winner take all title showdown with Silverwood
While Hill Steet’s win has more or less assured them of the title, it will be decided at a meeting of the Mid Ulster Football League onThursday night.
The game against Coalisland on Tuesday night was postponed as their opponents could not field a team.

Hide AdAlso, the recent game with Red Star which was abandonded on May 2 after 12 minutes will also be discussed at the meeting.
Hill Street can expect to be awarded the six points that will officially ratify them as champions.
On Saturday both sides knew a win was vital and in the end Street produced a superb performance to cap a great season.
Street made the best possible start with a goal within two minutes. Ian Penny was fouled outside the box and Andrew Hagan neatly scored from the resulting free kick to settle any Street nervous.

Hide AdSilverwood knew they had to score at least two to clinch the three points to win the league and started to put the visitors under pressure.
However, Street defended well and dealt with anything the home team threw at them. and went into the break still holding on to their 1-0 lead.
Hill Street changed their approach in the second half and started to get more of the ball which brought more attacking options by taking the game the Silverwood. It was Street who went close to adding to their tally with Penny hitting the post with 10 minutes to go.
Anything Silverwood had to offer Street’s defence stopped with great determination.

Hide AdStreet were rewarded for their hard work when Aaron Greenaway eased them over the line when he fired home from close range near the end.
The win edged Hill Street to their second title in two years and a historic league and cup double.
For Silverwood it is a blow as they led the way at the top of the table for most of the season.
