Both teenagers have experience around the first-team squad at Shamrock Park and will go straight into contention for selection on Saturday when Celtic play host to Glebe Rangers.

“Both players have been released to us by Portadown, with a clause in place that they can return in the next transfer window, if required,” said Malone. “They show good potential and have impressed during training.

“Conor Hagan is also back training after struggling with a calf injury.”

Skelton can operate at right-back, centre-back or midfield - with Judge a midfielder.

Kick-off on Saturday will be 3 o’clock.

Lurgan Celtic Youth enjoyed a weekend win over Ballinamallard United by 3-2.

Jonathan Douglas levelled the match, with Anthony McIlroy capping a slick team move to push Celtic in front. It was 2-2 but the game’s final twist featured success in the second half for Ruairi McCann.
